The Blue Oar Restaurant,Haddam

A favorite stop for boaters cruising the river. The Blue Oar offers shaded outside dining, superb deserts, salads and a short order menu that delights. Their Mandarin salad is worth the boat ride! You can bring your favorite beverage or wine to the Blue Oar! Also, your order can be delivered to the boat for a great lunch dock side.

The Griswold Inn, Essex

Essex has a rich maritime history and has served the mariner for decades. Today it offers Anchorage, Marinas, and fine food. The Griswold Inn offers overnight accommodations, excellent dining and is just a one block walk from the waters edge. The Tap Room is a must visit and good times!
